Camila Maxima Charteris, known simply as Cami 🌞✨, is a singer, songwriter, and actress who made her Metaverse debut in February 2024. At just 19, she’s already making her mark with a striking voice, captivating presence, and a unique vision of style.
For Cami, fashion is deeply personal. It’s not about following every trend, but about discovering what makes her feel powerful, confident, and truly herself. To her, dressing well is an act of self-love — a way of saying, “I love myself enough to show up fully and beautifully.”
INTERVIEW
1 Do you see yourself more as a singer or a model right now?
I have always loved doing both. I think my modeling and singing career go hand-in-hand, yet they’re so different! Modeling is a form of performance in itself but I love the challenge that comes along with singing, playing instruments and making music videos. It’s a blessing to be able to do both, but my heart is in my music.
2 What Metaverse fashion trends are you most excited to wear?
Coquette core and bows. I love donning vintage jewellery, pink floaty dresses, corsets, pearls, bows, lace and ribbons. I just love girly things so much.
3 Any original music coming soon? Can you give us a hint?
It has always been a goal for me and I’m really working on it. Hopefully I could work on an all-original track very soon.
4 How did it feel to see your name among the VMA 2025 nominees?
I woke up to a very good news and it was wild. I mean, I’ve never expected it to happen at this stage. Being recognized for the hard work you put in is pretty amazing. This wasn’t the kind of thing I was anticipating but I am really excited to celebrate this milestone with my fellow artists.
5 Is there a Metaverse artist you dream of collaborating with?
The icon of the metaverse herself, Rudmental. I really admire her artistry, vision and passion. She is an inspiration to me.
6 Where do you see yourself artistically in the next year?
Well, it’s been such a crazy privilege to be in this part of the world. Next year, I’ll definitely work more on my artistic vision and expand my reach. There are tour plans, and new music releases. Great things are coming for sure. I’d say stay tuned on my socials to be updated.
